A word on the NFL Draft this weekend

Once this weekend has ended the lives of a select few individuals will be changed forever.  All the hard work that they have endured over the past decade and some will payoff.  Some will far exceed the expectations that people have of them, and some will deliver as expected on the promise of potential that they displayed to all those watching.  And of course there will be a few that will prove that success and achievement, along with the fulfillment of a life long dream does not and cannot change the inherent nature of man.  These are the ones who can look into the face of success and achievement snatch defeat and failure.  It will happen that someone will casually toss away the brass ring as if it were a prize from a box of Cracker Jacks.  I will watch the draft this weekend and revel of the achievement of these young men and wish them all the best in the years to come.  I truly hope that there is not a fool and silly young man within this year's crop of athletic millionaires to be.  But, the past shows us that there is at least one in the group.  Good Luck men and congrats of your achievement and success.

Like you, I am a die hard NFL fan and will be watching the draft right too. It this that is absolutely amazing that through hard work and perseverance, an individual and his family can be transformed economically. I wish the draftees the best of luck.
